Velora — Gym Management

A real-world gym management ERP built to replace scattered daily operations with one connected system for memberships, payments, trainers, sessions, expenses, and reporting.

Introduction

Velora started as a real business problem, not a portfolio idea. A gym needed a reliable system to run its daily operations from one place, so I designed and built an ERP-style management system around the way the business actually works.

Problem

The client was dealing with scattered data and overlapping processes. Memberships, remaining payments, trainers, sessions, income, and expenses were difficult to track together, making simple daily operations more confusing than they needed to be.

Approach

I treated the project as an ERP rather than a collection of dashboard pages. I mapped the relationships between members, trainers, sessions, and financial transactions first, then structured Supabase around those workflows using connected tables, views, RPC functions, and controlled data access. The interface was built afterward around the operations the staff actually perform every day.

Challenges

The hardest part was keeping every operation connected. A membership renewal can affect payments, a session can affect trainer calculations, and financial actions must remain consistent across the system. The challenge was making those relationships reliable behind the scenes while keeping the experience simple for the person using it.

Result

The result is a production-used management system that brings members, subscriptions, trainers, sessions, transactions, expenses, and business insights into one connected workflow — turning previously scattered operations into a system the gym can actually rely on every day.
